A Home Away from Home
At Three R’s, we pride ourselves on fostering a family-like atmosphere where children, staff, and parents work together as a team. Our goal is to create a nurturing environment that promotes positive development for every child in our care.
Consistency and Routine
We understand the importance of structure in a child’s day, which is why we provide a consistent daily routine. This helps children feel secure and confident as they navigate through their activities, allowing for smooth transitions and a sense of familiarity.
Play-Based Learning
Our educators are dedicated to facilitating enriching learning experiences tailored to each child’s interests. We believe that play is a child’s natural way of learning, and we incorporate play-based opportunities throughout the day to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and social interaction.

We meet each child at their developmental stage, encouraging them to take on new challenges and celebrating every milestone with them. Our approach ensures that each child grows at their own pace, building confidence and a love for learning.

Innovative Learning Tools
We use the Handwriting Without Tears program to help children master letter, shape, number, and color recognition in a fun, engaging way. Music and circle time further enrich their learning experience, promoting cognitive development and group collaboration. Through all activities, children are encouraged to express their creativity and, most importantly, have fun!​
Our Story
My name is Wendy Mathias, the owner and director of Three R’s Schoolhouse Inc. and Three R’s Early Learning Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, I had a vision of creating a childcare centre that focuses on enrichment, where families feel confident leaving their precious children in a nurturing environment built on encouragement, compassion, and the highest quality care.
In my role, I strive to be present at the centre daily to stay connected with operations and enjoy my share of the children’s beautiful smiles and laughter. No matter the day, hearing their joy has a way of making all worries melt away!
As a mother of two wonderful girls, aged 20 and 22, both of whom were students at our centre and are now thriving at university, I now find myself in the "empty nester" phase of life.
When I’m not at the centre, I’m passionate about arts and crafts and can often be found cheering on my favorite team, the Toronto Raptors!
