A Day of Fun, Learning, and Growing!

Inspiring Imagination and Expression

This time is designed to inspire creativity, enhance social and emotional development, and build teamwork and sharing skills. Children engage in activities that develop both fine and gross motor skills, while teachers encourage collaboration, active listening, and exploration with a variety of materials. Each child is given the freedom to express themselves, making their creation truly unique. They’re always eager to proudly share their artwork with their families at the end of the day.

Encouraging Physical Development and Fun

Movement is key to early childhood development, and we incorporate it into daily activities. From follow-the-leader games and dance parties to yoga and neighborhood walks, children are encouraged to move, explore, and strengthen their muscles, balance, and memory. Movement-based activities promote physical health and cognitive development in fun, engaging ways.

Building Connections and Communication

Circle time is a cherished moment for both children and teachers. It's a time for connection, where children practice listening, taking turns, and getting to know one another. Teachers lead with songs, instruments, and pre-recorded music while introducing name recognition, weather discussions, and the days, months, and weekly learning themes. This interactive time fosters social skills and a sense of community.

Fostering Communication and Early Literacy Skills

Language and literacy are woven into every aspect of our daily routine. We promote literacy and mathematical thinking through our Handwriting Without Tears program, classroom labels, and interactive conversations where children describe their actions, feelings, and surroundings. Storytime is a beloved activity, whether individually or as a group, and we constantly encourage children to explore books and enhance their vocabulary.

Expanding Learning through Active Play

Outdoor play is a favorite for both children and teachers! Our toddlers have their own playground, equipped with a large chalkboard, push cars, a sandbox, and plenty of room to run. Preschool and school-age children enjoy a second playground with a climber, slide, tricycles, kitchens, and spaces for exploration. The outdoors serves as an extension of our classroom, where all programming comes to life and children can burn off energy while continuing to learn through play.
